Chuck is the Head of UX at Vectra. He started doing user research and design in consumer products, moved to business, and then took a diversion into game and virtual world design. He designed three platinum games for Electronic Arts and a virtual world that won a technology Emmy for avatar conversation. He then migrated to enterprise software, including Pure Storage and Sumologic.
Over the years he has pioneered methods for iterative testing, design, user feedback, and usability validation now widely used. He has invented interactions for new technology such as hand held touch screens (when they were first emerging), interactive video on the floor of malls nationwide, body language for emotional communication in an online 3D worlds, and a 3D body gesture language facing a wall display. He has been growing the design practice at Vectra over the last year.
