This complimentary one-day event is your opportunity to engage with peers near you using the Cognito platform. Share best practices and learn more about how the Cognito platform can improve your detection and response to hidden threats. Meet our data scientists, consulting analysts, and security researchers to learn more about how the Cognito platform works. This event will include practical examples and interactive discussions covering threat investigations and responses to active attacks. You’ll learn how the platform continues to evolve in order to meet the needs of security analysts and threat hunters in sophisticated and dynamic environments.
Attendees are able to earn 5 CPE credits.
The event starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.
Welcome keynote - What the Titanic teaches about cybersecurity
Stealthy attackers wreaking havoc while threat hunters search in vain trying to stop them. Plot of a cyber thriller? No, this was the daily reality of anti-submarine warfare in World War I. Explore what history – and, yes, even the Titanic – can teach us about successful threat hunting in today's modern security operations.
You can keep the d20s at home, but table-topping is a great way to train and develop processes. Using a real-world attack to guide us, we'll work together as a blue team to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
Powering the Hunt
Get a behind-the-scenes look at how user community feedback has driven the transformation of Cognito from a pure AI detection product to a complete threat hunting and incident investigation platform, as well as a glimpse into future innovations that will continue shifting the balance of power to the hunters.
It is natural to compare your security operations with a peer’s. How to operationalize threat investigations? How to investigate incidents? How to hunt for threats? Where are security operations today and where do they need to go? How is the role of the SIEM evolving with the use of SOAR? Is building a security operations center essential?
Let's talk Data Science
Explore the evolution and future of data science. Learn about the problems solved by unsupervised, supervised and reinforcement learning. Understand the advantages and disadvantage of certain algorithms, and what to expect in the next few years.
We will announce more speakers very soon, stay tuned!
